What insurance do you accept?

We are a cash based office and do not accept insurance. If desired, a bill can be provided for the patient to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement.

What is the cost of care?

As a cash-based, family practice being affordable is priority. We proudly offer multiple payment and wellness plans to find the right fit for your family. Although prices are not listed on the website, please feel free to contact us and we will provide a list of costs and plans.

This is a home office? Do I have to go through your house? Can I use the bathroom?

Yes! This is a home office, so make yourself at home! When you arrive, you enter through the door on the right (it's pretty obvious, I promise). For chiropractic care, you do not have to go through the house, but you do have to pass through the living room to get to the therapy room or bathroom. And yes, you can use our bathroom!

How do I book an appointment?

To book a new patient appointment you must reach out to the office, as openings are limited. The easiest way to reach out is through text or email. If you call know that we likely will not answer, but please leave a message and we will get back to you!

Returning patients can easily book, reschedule, or cancel through our booking site. Click "schedule" in the menu at the top of the page. Of course, you can always reach out if you do not prefer scheduling online!

Is chiropractic safe for myself and my child?

Research has shown that chiropractic is very safe, with minimal side effects. In fact, it is so safe that chiropractors in Illinois are not required by law to carry malpractice insurance! The level of force used is adjusted to be appropriate for each person. A newborn infant adjustment and large adult male adjustment will look nothing alike! The amount of pressure used in a newborn adjustment is no more than what would be comfortable to press on your eyeball. And rest assured, your tiny little ones will not be "popped" or "cracked".

Why should my children be adjusted?

Infants and children are continually growing, learning, and adapting. Their nervous systems are working so hard! Chiropractic care helps support their nervous system to make life easier for them - from digestion and sleep to schoolwork and sports. Parents report improvements in many childhood conditions, such as, constipation, ear infections, difficult focus, general crankiness, and overall immune function, just to name a few.

Do I have to be "popped"?

Absolutely not! If you like to be "popped" Dr. Eve knows plenty of adjusting techniques for you. If not, there are plenty of techniques for you as well! Low force techniques are highly effective. We will work together to find the right adjustment for your body.

What chiropractic techniques do you utilize?

Dr. Greenwell uses a combination of high and low force techniques. For spinal adjusting she uses primarily Thompson, Diversified, Logan Basic, and Activator (instrument assisted). She also uses Cox Flexion and Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) as needed. In addition to spinal adjusting Dr. Eve does cranial, visceral, and extremity manipulation. She is also certified in Webster technique as her primary technique to pregnant women.

If you have past experience with a certain technique (positive or negative), please let Dr. Eve know so you can be as comfortable as possible!

Once I see a chiropractor will I have to keep going forever?

Not if you don't want to! Some people come just until they have relief from their complaint, which can be anywhere from a few visits to a few months. However, many people find that regular chiropractic care helps them deal with daily life stresses and enjoy wellness care.

Do I have to come for an adjustment to get a massage?

No, you can just come for massage therapy, or you can do both!

Should I book my massage before or after my adjustment? Or on a seperate day?

Everyone has a different preference. If you feel especially tight, we recommend trying the massage before your adjustment. Dr. Eve personally always likes an adjustment first to get the nervous system fired up! Some people prefer to book separate days to keep them feeling loose and stress free between adjustments.

Do I have to undress for my massage?

Skin to skin contact is most effective and most comfortable, but you can undress to your level of comfort.
